Management of customer reservations

Introduction :

This action makes it possible to reserve an item, for a customer, by removing it from the stock available for sale.

If a deposit is required to reserve the product, enter a deposit independently of the reservation before or after it. In this way, if the customer wishes to cancel this reservation and recover his deposit, he will be able to :

  • use his deposit for another product
  • be reimbursed for his deposit

1- Assign the reservation to the stores:

To use the reservation function, you must make it active in the payment methods used by the store:

Path: Brand management / Tools & Settings / System settings / Stores / Payment methods / "Assignments" tab  

  

 

 2 - Cancellation of a reservation:

It is important to process the reservations in order to have a real stock available for sale. In case of withdrawal of a customer, it is necessary to cancel the reservation to reinstate the stock in Fastmag.

Path: history / reservation /

Then click on the reservation number and cancel the reservation. This action will put the reservation back in stock.

 3 - Create a new reservation:

Click on the “Reservation” button. It is strongly recommended to link the reservation to a customer account, in order to be able to find it easily by calling up the customer file:

Click on "Save", the action is saved and the reservation ticket is printed:

4 - Create a deposit for this reservation:

To create the deposit, simply click on the "CUSTOMERS" button and call back the last customer:

The file of the customer for whom we made the reservation, will automatically return to the screen, which limits the errors. Then you just have to create the deposit, indicating the amount and the method of payment used:

 

 

For information
On the reservation ticket, you will find the customer's outstanding balances and in particular the deposit that he has paid. In short,the deposit and the reservation are not directly linked, but the customer file is their common anchor point.

Thus, if the customer has several previous reservations, they will appear at the bottom of the ticket:

5 - Recall and complete a reservation:

Recall the customer file and find your reservation as mentioned above

Go to the history and click on the booking number

The product(s) are recalled in sales, as well as the customer's file

Click on "HAVE AVAILABLE" (by default the box flashes to warn you that there is either a deposit, a credit or a gift card), click on “Use this deposit

 

 You just have to finalize the collection as you usually do, and click on "SAVE".
