The SME Electronic Wallet works like a gift card (Gifcard), with the difference that it decrements the balance of the gift card instead of creating a credit note to the customer in the case of partial use.
Two use cases:
- An amount is deposited in the SME and purchases will be debited as and when.
- Issuance of a gift card in an electronic wallet (SME) in the event that the voucher is greater than the total of the sale and we do not wish to refund the customer.
- Setting up an e-wallet
- Creating a sale button for an SME
- Creation and use of an SME
Example: my customer made a purchase of €7.50 and gives me a voucher of €10. I do not want to reimburse him but create a credit note in the form of a gift card. of the difference is 2.50 €.
I beep my items, I enter the amount of the voucher (BACHEXT) and I inform the customer (since I will issue a credit)
To create the credit note, I note the amount of the credit mentioned in "change to return" and I click on SME creation.
I click on "generate SME number"
- I choose BACHEXT in type of SME
- I indicate the amount
- I click on "loading SME"
The amount of 2.50 € is displayed in the sales line as a product (without stock management) in the form of a Gitcard, which allows to have a sales amount of 10 € to settle the receipt.
The customer's ticket prints in the following form:
You notice that the Gifcard has generated a number and barcode that you can beep when the customer returns to the store with his ticket.
To use the Gifcard with the receipt:
Beep the barcode of the slapcard:
The gifcard is deducted and the SME is paid in the customer's account. A giftcard for single use.
If the customer no longer has his ticket:
Search for the customer file by clicking on "customer"
Click on "have available"
Click on "use this SME"
Click on "use"
The giftcard comes as a deduction -2.50€
The customer can pay for his purchases.
